Formlabs has started shipping Elastic Resin, the latest addition to its family of Engineering Resins for the Form 2 stereolithography (SLA) 3D printer.
Elastic resin is said to be the most pliable of Formlabs' engineering resins, with a Shore durometer of 50A as well as high elongation and energy return. Parts 3D printed in this material are said to look and behave like a molded silicone part, and be durable enough to use for multiple cycles.
